what a great summer...

or maybe not. aparently more rain has fallen in switzerland in the past 3 days than normally falls in the whole of august. and it's felt like that for the past month as well. the floods happening around the country now though are a little too exciting. i don't think having people and houses washed away is anyone's idea of a good time. the river limmat is looking pretty incredible at the moment also. all brown turgid swirling rapids swelling up and over the walkways normally well above the water level.

dancing in the streets

street parade, the little (but surviving) sister of berlin's love parade, was on again! i had much more fun this year than last, as we tracked down and followed a 'love mobile' playing some funky house you didn't have to be on e to think was wicked. it's been too long since i was out dancing, and the street was certainly as good a place as any to get back into the swing of things.
