mel and braunwald

mel was wandering around southern germany on her mini-holiday away from berlin, and decided to drop in to visit me for a few days. yay for visitors! she did a good job of doing the standard zürich tourist route (altstadt, grossmünster, lindt chocolate factory) and then we decided to go sample some fresh swiss skiing snow at braunwald on saturday. it was awesome fun! the swiss trains run just as efficiently in winter as summer, and with the deals they have, you get one simple ticket for train and day skipass. we had to get up a bit ridiculously early to make it out to the slopes by before 10, but it was worth it for a full day's falling over!

mel was looking most classy.


and i was just super excited to be able to make it down both blue runs at the end of the day without a stack!
